which joins Cockman Street and Anderson Road? At night that lane was lined with hawker stalls and the Anderson Road end of that lane was flanked by two coffeeshops, one on each side. I think the one on the right was Mun Tin ... can't remember the name of the other coffeeshop on the other side of the lane. So to answer your question, Mun Tin was a corner shop. I can remember some of the shops that were nearby .... a laundry shop where I sent my clothes for dry cleaning, a bookshop and a lady barber shop. This was in the 60s and 70s. That lane was one of the best places to have supper after a show at the Lido, Cathay or Ruby. Can still remember the "pak koh soi" which was delicious. Best wishes, kayes.
