Kayes, I must revisit Anderson Road on my next trip to Ipoh cos I can't recall where Mun Tin is. Is it a corner shop? When I was in primary school, Mum used to bring me to this coffee shop which was located at a corner and just a few shops away from the Susu and Lai Leng Hair Salon/Dressmaker shop at Anderson Road. Loved the simple but delicious yellow mee and fish balls in black gravy. When I last visited Leong Sin Nam Street, I could not recall exactly where Mum's mahjong club was. But I remember there was a hair salon near it. There's still a hair salon there now. I also remember a men's barber shop at Leong Sin Nam Street which was called Apollo. Mum said it was named Apollo in honour of man's 1st landing on the moon that year! If I'm not mistaken, there's still a men's barber shop there now. Can't wait for my next trip to Ipoh to refresh my memories. Cheers! Ann
