I had some dealings with the bank way back in the 70s. Do you know Lin Chong? She worked there from the mid 70s. Not sure when she left but maybe just as you joined. Wisma Central was built by the MCA, hence the MCA colours on the building. I believe it was within walking distance to Jackie's Bowl if bowling was your thing then. Incidentally, the first bowling alley in the country was in Ipoh, at the Perak Turf Club Sport Club in Tiger Lane. I used to bowl there as soon as it started sometime in 1963 or 64. Therefore when the bowling alleys in KL came up (first was Shah's Bowl in PJ, then the bowling alley at Merlin Hotel followed by Jackie's Bowl), we Ipohites were already pros who could burn a few lanes when those KL guys were still sending their balls to the gutters :-) Best wishes, kayes.
