Ann, my sis's salon and Jade's were somewhat fierce competitors. Jade started off as a ladies hairdressing salon but after observing the roaring business at Carolyn's Unisex Beauty and Hairdressing Salon (my sis's), they introduced unisex hairdressing as well but not the beauty therapies. I remember the attractive Jade being a very petite (about 4' 11") Chinese lady with slightly darkish olive skin, always clacking around with those 5-inch stilleto heels. :) Cheers from Oz,
