Hi, Kayes. Nice to know my semi-functioning grey cells are rubbing off on a fellow Ipohite across oceans and cyberspace. No, I lived at the flats (called "Malaysia Mansion" ... yikes, what a misnomer!) which are directly across Hugh Low Street from Kok Kee restaurant. These flats are right next to Yuk Choy Primary School. On the other hand, the National Garden flats are on the same side of Hugh Low Street as Kok Kee, Green Fern, Federal Bowl & Latin Quarter (which would be on your left if you're entering Ipoh from Gopeng Road near the Fountain "Yeh Kong Booi".
