Believe me Ann, the curry noodles taste just as good as it did in the 70's and 80's. It is not too "lemak", so the aromatic flavor of the spices is not being overpowered by coconut milk. It is amazing, how they can maintain such excellent quality control over a span of more than 30 years!In Ipoh, I was staying at the Excelsior, which is strategically located around some great restaurants. I did survey the two kopitiams at the corner of Leong Sin Nam and Cowan Streets. Apparently, the food is still great but I did not notice any "exotic" wild life meat being sold in any one of them. Hope you can find your favorite fish noodles in one of the two shops.
