I too was shocked to see it surrounded by that huge shopping center. And everything around the old Convent had changed too. Gone were the flower shops next door and across the road, gone was the old lane behind the school which led to Green Lane and Jalan Abdul Jalil. Jalan Abdul Jalil used to be such a quiet, idyllic and peaceful road, with lots of trees and playgrounds and open fields. |
